The Magic Pot – In Search of Depth, Containment and Validation Julia has a Ph.D. in psychology. For over 15 years she was an associate professor at the department of psychology in Moscow State University and National Research University Higher School of Economics. She lectured in academic psychology, psychotherapy and Jungian analysis, and has received numerous awards as ‘The best university teacher of the year’. The main area of her research is personality crisis, with a particular interest in identity crisis and midlife crisis. She has a number of published papers on identity crisis, and the role of music in analysis, and countertransference in psychotherapeutic work with trauma. Julia has practiced psychotherapy for 20 years. She has a background in humanistic psychotherapy, and in 2011 completed a Jungian psychotherapeutic training in Moscow. Since 2013 she has worked in private practice in Surbiton. This meeting is for AJA members and candidates only. Zoom facilities will be available.
