In working with chaotic male clients whose trauma and abuse has contributed to them becoming aggressive and/or antisocial, it can seem challenging to introduce elements of working creatively and with the imagination. In this presentation I will offer some examples of clinical work that demonstrate the potent and healing effect of working with the imagination for this client group. Sarah Van Gogh is an integrative psychotherapist who works on the training team at the Revision Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy, and in private practice. She is also a therapist and trainer for Survivors UK, a charity that supports those who identify as male and have experienced sexual violation.
