A graduate, I trained and qualified in pschodynamic work and then Jungian analysis through WPF and the SAP, before choosing to join AJA. Along the way, I have worked in the NHS and charities, as well as in private practice. While living in Russia I worked with a therapeutic community for orphaned children. I have also completed an infant observation study.
In an earlier career I was a partner in a London consulting firm, and have lived and worked in Italy.
I am a member of the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and the IAAP.
About my practice
I am in Brede, East Sussex, close to Rye, Battle and Hastings.
I offer supervision (individual and group) and CPD (workshops and study groups) to psychotherapists and counsellors. I take pleasure in helping others develop and deepen their therapeutic work.
My approach is Jungian, analytic, relational and developmental.
Working with someone on deep unconscious processes is an honour, to be done with care, respect and compassion. The self healing nature of the psyche can be set in motion through thoughtful and attentive therapy.
I have long experience of working with those in great pain as well as people with psychosis; emotional pain can arise from many sources, including loss, betrayal, abuse, physical trauma, and early relational trauma.
