A6 Statement of good practice

Regarding supervisors and analysts of candidates

It is good professional practice for supervisors and analysts of the Association of Jungian Analysts, who are in a personal relationship with another member of the Association, not to work as a couple in relation to candidates. They, and those analysts who live together, or are in a financial relationship, are asked to declare their interest and take no part in discussions where these relationships might affect their objectivity.

Regarding positions of office within the Association of Jungian Analysts

It is good practice for a couple never to hold office jointly and never to serve on the same selection, assessment or review committee or panel.
