Being a member of AJA and the IAAP requires submission of various professional documents and payment of membership and IAAP fees. Members are generally given approximately two months’ notice to fulfil these requests (longer for the 5-year re-accreditation) and we ask members to be aware of their responsibilities in submitting these accurately and within the stated time frame. Late submission entails further expense for AJA through administrative costs and can create extensive work for the Ethical and Professional Committee (EPC).
From September 2023 a late submission fee will be incurred if any of the following documents are not returned within the stated time frame:
- Membership renewal forms
- Membership fee form (with appropriate payment or details of standing order arrangements)
- IAAP fee request
- Annual CPD return
- 5 Year Accreditation documentation
Each late submission or missed payment (or arrangement to pay) will incur the ÂŁ50 late submission fee unless the member notifies the EPC of extenuating circumstances before the deadline. In which case, an extension will be agreed and only one reminder sent closer to the agreed submission date. If this date is not met, then the late submission fee will be incurred.
